Scotland’s Archaeology Strategy 2015-2025 was built around five strategic aims. Together, these provide a shared framework for organisations, professionals, volunteers, communities and policymakers to work towards a future where archaeology is valued, understood and accessible to everyone.

Each aim is supported by projects, partnerships and activities taking place across Scotland.

Scotland’s Archaeology Strategy is currently under review and an update will be published in 2027.
