Strategy Delivery & Aims

  • Celebrating Archaeology in Scotland 2018

The Archaeology Strategy Delivery Plan is to be led by the Scottish Strategic Archaeology Committee (SSAC), whose members represent different groups within the archaeological community in Scotland.

One of the aims of the strategy is to deliver an action plan for the next 10 years with progress and products being monitored by the Committee.

This is a living document with changes being made as the strategy is delivered and progress is made. It will be constantly monitored and reviewed.

In 2020, we published a Five-Year Review of Scotland’s Archaeology, summarising progress from 2015 to 2020 and setting out plans for the years ahead.
